Netanyahu and Obama to meet in New York on Wednesday

Prime Minister Netanyahu will meet with President Obama in New York on Wednesday, reports confirming the bilateral meeting to take place during the United Nations General Assembly. Netanyahu will also deliver his annual address to the General Assembly where he will “present Israel’s case to the world.”
The last meeting held between Netanyahu and Obama took place last November. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Office released the following statement on the meeting: At the expected meeting with US President Barack Obama, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will thank him personally for the security assistance agreement that was signed last week.The agreement expresses the depth of the strategic relationship between Israel and the United States. At his meeting with President Obama, Prime Minister Netanyahu intends to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the Middle East as well as the way to advance peace and security.”…. [read more]
