O’DONNELL, Texas — Students at a high school in Texas are pushing back after a prominent Church-State separation group lodged a complaint about a Ten Commandments painting hung on the wall, which resulted in the school district covering the display.
“I made the decision to cover it up until I made a more informed decision about what I should do, because I don’t want to harm the district or cause any controversy or anything,” O’Donnell Independent School District Dr. Cathy Amonett told reporters on Friday.
The Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation had sent a letter to Amonett this week demanding that the district remove the painting, as well as a Scripture that had also been displayed on the wall at O’Donnell High School….. [read more]

lhmw notes: Matthew 10:33 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Keep standing students! We pray for you to have courage and strength during this persecution. How refreshing to see people stand for their beliefs.  Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which suffer persecution for righteousness’ sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

You notice it is not Texas. Why is Wisconsin dictating to schools in other states?

  1. People fixate on the ten commandments missing all of this. Galatians 6:21Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5For every man shall bear his own burden. Bearing your own burden is being responsible for what you do and say. Luke 6:37: “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:” Romans 2:1“Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.”
Romans 14:10:“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
Romans 13:10-14: 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Colossians 2:16 – Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in
respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 1 Timothy 4:4: For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: Mark 2:27-28: 27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Romans 14:5-12:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. Romans 15:2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. Philippians 2:12King James Version (KJV)
    • 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
◄ Luke 7 ► 40And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. 41There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
    Matthew 6:12King James Version (KJV)
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Jesus will forgive us the debt of eternal soul death when we forgive the debt that another cannot pay. It is a humble selfless thing to do showing mercy.
