JIM BAKKER: GET READY FOR APOCALYPSE

Charlotte Observer: Three decades after his PTL empire near Charlotte crumbled amid financial and sex scandals, Jim Bakker is back on TV with a different, darker message:
The Apocalypse is coming and you better get ready.
Ready to be judged by God, sure. But the main mission of “The Jim Bakker Show” – broadcast from a Christian compound deep in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri – appears to be to sell you fuel-less generators, doomsday guidebooks and freeze-dried food with a shelf-life of up to 30 years. more …

Opinion by BIBLE PROPHECY TRACKER: I have often wondered if those Christians who embrace Amillennialism or Post-Millennialism, or Preterism, have a garage full of what Bakker is selling. I picture personal mini-warehouses just loaded with tribulation gear, despite the preponderance of Scripture that indicates the Church of Jesus Christ will not be on earth when it happens.
Post-Millennialists and Amillennialists have no place for a rapture, as described by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, 1:10, 5:9. Many who adhere to these doctrines believe the final war of Armageddon has already occurred (Preterism).
“Stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive, ah, ah, ah, ah,” Bakker’s daughter, Tammy Sue, now 47, sang on one show as her dad promoted buckets of long-lasting emergency food. That day’s “Staying Alive” special: Ten buckets, with 2,410 servings, for a $600 donation plus shipping.
To be sure I have had several debates on this website with Post/Amillennialists. I find that in most cases there is a misinterpretation of Matthew 24:9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
A careful reading of Matthew 24, however, will reveal that Jesus is speaking to His Jewish disciples and that the church is not in existence, which becomes clear in Matthew 24:15-16:
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”
The Jews are in Judea – not the church.
For some reason, some Christians just cannot wrap their mind around a literal rapture despite at least 5 references to types of raptures in both the OT and NT:

  • Enoch: Genesis 5:21-24
  • Elijah: 2 Kings 2: 11-14
  • OT Saints: Matthew 27:51-53
  • Church: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
  • Two Witnesses: Revelation 11:11-12

And even more evidence that the bride of Christ is absent from the trial comes from Jesus Himself:
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from (Greek ἐκ ‘out of’) the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Revelation 3:10
LHWM Opinion: We also want to add that if you have food or gear saved up what makes you think the government or One World Order will not come and take what you posses for scripture clearly tells us that “Revelation 13:17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.”
In order for there to be a ONE WORLD ORDER they must be in charge and scripture tells us that “Daniel 9:27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

  1. Thank you for posting this!
Many pre-trib pastors have moved their position to post-trib
They write books and sell dooms day products.. and make a good profit in doing so..
As Chaplin John McTernan states, they steal the Blessed Hope..

      1. Thank you, I appreciate the offer. If the Lord leads, Praveen is generally in need. I have added Jamil from Pakistan who is praying for needs. The Lord will lead your choice 🙂
        Thank you and God Bless.

  2. Well according to the Word of God;
Malachi 4:5 “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.
Matthew 17:10 The disciples asked him, “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”
11 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things.
12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.”
13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.
Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Acts 2:16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
Hebrews 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
    2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
Hebrews 9:26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Luke 24:44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
